Do You Know When Your 24-Month FAR 91.411/01.413 Inspections Are Due?
Federal Air Regulations require biennial inspections and certification of altimeter, encoding system and static system (FAR 91.411) for any aircraft that file IFR flight plans, whether operating in IFR conditions or not, and inspection and certification of transponders for all aircraft (FAR 91.413) operating in controlled airspace.
Each month, we send reminders to customers for whom we have completed these inspections in the past to let them know when their next inspections are due. (Some are surprised it has been two years since their last ones, and are glad to be reminded.) If you would like to be added to our reminder list, just supply us with your last certification date, your name and address and the N number of your aircraft and we will add you to our list.
