The article relates how Kings began in Olathe, Kansas, moved to Casper, Wyoming to take advantage of an opportunity there. While in Casper, the company was building a growing customer base in the Salt Lake City area and in 1982 completed a move to Salt Lake City International Airport. The Kings team now consists of 16 full time staff members.
The article points out that Kings provides expert service on large corporate aircraft, while continuing to service the needs of single-engine and multi-engine piston aircraft. In addition, the Avionics News article explains that Kings is one of the few avionics facilities that has received FAA certification to provide maintenance and annual certifications on Non-Federal Contract Control Towers. It also emphasizes that, due to Kings' exhaustive inspection and quality assurance procedures, the FAA has granted Kings Avionics extensive repair station ratings that allow the company to service nearly every private and commercial avionics system on the market today.
