Need The Frequency Range Of Your Comm Radios Extended Above 135.975?
For years, most nav/comm radios in general aviation aircraft had 720 channels, which were sufficient for most users at the time. But today most new sets come with 760 comm channels, which increases the comm frequency range from 135.975 mhz to 136.975 mhz.
Not every aircraft operator needs the additional frequencies. But if you do, and your present 720-channel set is working just fine, you can probably have your present equipment modified to extend the frequency range up to 760 channels--or up to 136.975 mhz for far less than the cost of new nav/comm equipment.
At Kings Avionics, we can do this modification for you. The cost varies with the make and model of your present nav/comm equipment. But if you will give us a phone call at 801-539-8412 we can tell you exactly what the price will be to modify your particular equipment and about how long it will take. Just ask for Jeff Nicholls or Doug Hayden.
